Traditionally, medicine has treated physical and emotional issues separately.

We now know that the mind and body are tightly interwoven. What effects one, effects the other.

EFT is a method that emphasizes the mind-body connection and thus in the hands of a trained therapist or coach, can open endless doors to healing and transformation.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a technique that involves tapping on specific points on the body to release stress and restore balance to the mind and body. Founded in 1995, EFT or Tapping, is based on the principles of acupuncture, cognitive behavioral and exposure therapies. It can be used on its own, or as an adjunct to other forms of therapy or self-care. EFT works by calming the brain’s stress response and allowing new neural patterns to form, thus releasing negative emotions and limiting beliefs that are stored in the body's energy system and restoring balance to the body's energy pathways.

The stress hormone cortisol has been shown to decrease 46% after a single EFT session. It has also been shown to improve athletic performance, reduce stress in the workplace, and enhance overall quality of life. It is a safe and gentle technique that can be easily learned and applied by anyone.

ABOUT  ME

I’m a retired nurse with over thirty years of experience in healthcare. After retirement, I found that I missed being of service to others but did not want to return to the healthcare system. Having used EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques, also known as Tapping) in my personal life for over ten years and experiencing firsthand the positive results, I decided to become a Certified Clinical EFT Practitioner.

As a former nurse, it has been important to me to follow the science of an evidence-based practice.

EFT has been studied in well over one hundred clinical trials and been proven remarkably effective in reducing anxiety and depression, stress, PTSD, fears and phobias, physical pain and more.

Through EFT, I can help you begin to resolve certain life issues and begin to live the life you want.

OUR COACHING

At Soft Landings EFT, our coaching is primarily focused on using EFT to empower women, or rather to help them to empower  themselves.

So, what does it mean for women to empower themselves? It simply means that women have the ability and awareness to be the owners of their own actions, to take action and ultimately, to lead their lives, as they choose.

SESSIONS

A typical session will last one hour via Zoom. While you are comfortably seated, we will talk and tap on the issue you want to work on. You will be lead through the different tapping points while focusing on the negative emotions and releasing them. We will then "tap in" the positive aspects so you can begin to see things differently.

As we work together we will check in frequently for any changes in thoughts or feelings surfacing for you.

Though most clients feel better after a session, this is not a "one and done" process. It takes us a lifetime to build up our emotional baggage. We cannot expect to unpack it in one hour.

For this purpose, we offer packages of multiple sessions at a discounted rate.

Disclamier

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is an evidence-based technique used to decrease stress and anxiety and promote emotional well-being. It draws from acupuncture, cognitive behavorial and exposure therapy.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or Tapping) is not used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any physical, psychological illness or mental health disorder.
While EFT is a technique that has produced remarkable clinical results and has gained scientific support, it does not replace health care treatment from medical professionals.
